Inspiration struck recently to sew a few Findlay phone wallets and I was reminded how much I love this versatile and clever pattern from Hold it Right There !
This clutch style wallet is perfect for carrying your daily essentials, either as a grab-and-go bag, or as an accessory to keep in a larger bag. Pictured here with Mr Heckles handbag (see my previous blog post).
It features a front slip pocket for notes or receipts and 3 card slots (you can double up on cards), which closes securely with a sturdy flap and metal snaps.
The main zipped compartment can easily store your phone, passport, lip gloss, keys, tissues, whatever you like!
It has a detachable wristlet strap which clips on to the side ring with a swivel snap hook.
What I also love about this pattern is that you can mix up fabrics - so for instance, here I've made the flap in a faux leather and the exterior in laminated cotton for a more water repellent wallet.
