Do you ship internationally? I don't see my country at the checkout.

Currently this website is set up for UK delivery only on physical products. If you are overseas and would like to shop with me, please go to my Etsy shop which is better equipped to handle international orders in terms of customs requirements and any additional sales taxes.

International customers may still purchase digital downloads such as sewing patterns from this website.

My purchase is a gift. When will my order be dispatched?

Delivery details vary depending on whether an item is readymade or made-to-order.  Ready to ship items will be dispatched in 1-2 business days. Turnaround times for items that have yet to be made will be specified in the product description. If you are concerned about whether your order will be dispatched in time, feel free to leave me a note at the checkout or drop me a message at sewsofiauk[at]gmail.com. 

Do you offer a gift wrapping service?

I wrap most items in tissue paper with a logo sticker, ready to gift. Certain items such as clutch wallets or larger bags may be packaged in an organza storage bag, depending on the size of the item. If you'd like to send something directly to your recipient, please leave your gift message at the checkout and I will print it out to include with your gift.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes, custom orders are welcomed depending on the nature of your request and time constraints to fulfil your custom order. Additional fees may be applicable for custom orders. I also require payment in full prior to starting your order.

Custom orders are generally non-refundable. For example, where fabrics have been obtained especially for your order, a pattern has been upscaled or downscaled to a custom size, a pattern has been modified or a bag has been created to your personal specification or personalised with a name, it cannot be returned for a refund as it is a one of a kind product made just for you!

Can I return or exchange my purchase?

I want you to be 100% happy with your order but understand if you change your mind. Please check before placing an order as not all items are eligible for a refund. For further info, please refer to my Returns, Refunds and Exchanges Policy.

How do I care for my new bag or wallet?

My items are handcrafted with the greatest care using high quality materials, special interfacings and metal hardware. Avoid overloading your bag with heavy items as this will cause wear and tear, spoil the shape of the bag and put a strain on the strap. Do not immerse in water or a washing machine! The layers of special  interfacing and lining could displace or shrink in the wash and any metal hardware could become scratched or damaged. Consider using a fabric protector spray e.g. Scotchguard, to repel dirt and keep your bag or wallet clean.

For fabric bags only: spot clean minor stains with a mild soap solution, avoiding rubbing. Touch up any creases with an iron on a low setting.

For bags with faux leather or laminated (wipe clean) fabric: spot clean with a mild soap solution. Wipe clean gently with a soft damp cloth. Do not iron!
